Patient & Clinic Parking

Welcome Patients, below is our parking information and FAQ for all our clinics. If you have questions not addressed here, please call or email the clinic you're interested in; found under “Locations” in the tool bar above.

Surrey & Mission: There’s FREE parking outside our front door. Park in any stall that’s available.

Westside/Vancouver: There are 3 options:

  • Option 1: Parking on the side streets. There's a few 1-hour free parking zones and lots of metered parking.

  • Option 2: Paid parking lot on the rooftop of TOYS-R-US, diagonally across the street from the clinic. The cost is approximately $4/hour.

  • Option 3: We have an underground paid ($6/hour) parking garage but parking is limited.  There's 2 wheelchair spots avaliable.

  • Prior to your first visit, we will email you the necessary new patient forms to complete securely online at your convenience. The forms will cover basic information like your contact information (phone number, email and home address), insurance details (WSBC, ICBC, Employer Benefits) and then some basic general health screening questions.

Your first visit to the clinic will start with checking in at the reception desk. Our front staff will welcome you and then work with you to fill out any missing information on the new patient forms. All information will be collected in a private manner and stored in a secure electronic system.

For your convenience, we can send all receipts and future appointment reminders to your email.

  • New patient therapy appointments can vary in length but on average, you should plan to be at our clinic for 90 minutes.

New patient appointments always begin with your therapist taking a detailed subjective history, so bring any relevant test results and list of medications if you have any to report. Then, after all the relevant injury information is documented, the therapist will do a physical examination of your injury or condition. After the examination is completed, the therapist will outline the most relevant findings and provide an analysis of the injury. A treatment plan will be explained to you and any questions you may have will be answered. Always feel free to ask questions – we want to ensure you know as much as possible regarding your injury or condition.

If time permits, there’ll be a short introductory treatment, such as providing you with an essential home exercise to get you started on your road to recovery. The follow-up visits will be focussed on treatment and some re-evaluation to ensure you’re getting better.

  • Need to change an appointment? Please contact the clinic by calling or emailing, links are here:

    Mission - Surrey - Westside

    Need to cancel your appointment?
No worries – just let us know a minimum 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid a missed appointment fee and allow us to fill your spot with someone else waiting for treatment.

If you’re sick , our staff will work to reschedule your appointment. Late cancellation fees do NOT apply if you’re cancelling due to illness.

  • Well the answer is dependent on the complexity and severity of your injury or condition. Your therapist would be happy to answer this question after the completion of a thorough assessment. In general, if we don’t see improvement after 4-6 visits, your therapist will re-evaluate and discuss alternate treatment options.

  • We accept all major credit cards, debit and e-transfers. We are a ‘cash lite’ business - which means we prefer you don’t use cash but will take it in a pinch. We won’t be able to provide change but can apply any balance as a credit for your next treatment. We do not accept personal cheques.

  • After your first visit, we send a brief assessment report to your doctor outlining our findings and recommendations for treatment. After that we will send progress reports when required.

Any of your healthcare providers are welcome to contact us and we will work with them to ensure continuity of care.

Your written consent is always required to release any medical information to external parties (physicians, specialists or insurance providers). You were presented with a consent form on your first visit where you listed which parties you consented your medical information to be released.

  • In order to release your medical records to a lawyer, we must receive a formal letter of request and a signed consent form by the lawyer’s office authorizing the records release. There’s a fee to process this medicolegal request and the fee depends on the size of your medical records. Once the request and consent form is received, we will contact your lawyer’s office directly and arrange for the fee payment and transfer of records on your behalf.
