Fee Schedule & Insurance Coverage

Fee Schedule & Insurance Coverage

At healthOne, we work with your insurance provider to bill directly for our services when able. This would include all WSBC claims, ICBC claims, Medical Services Plan (MSP), RCMP, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and most employer benefit programs.

We provide discounted fees for seniors & students at our Surrey & Mission locations. Seniors are individuals aged 65 or older and students are individuals enrolled in full-time study at a university or college (student ID required).

Our fees are listed on our Jane Online booking pages for the various services we provide. Please read below for more information on Direct billing and special fee schedules.

  • If possible, we will bill directly to your insurance plan. Please check with your insurance plan for coverage for therapy services as the level of coverage varies greatly between plans. Almost all employer benefit plans have coverage for physiotherapy services.

  • With a valid ICBC claim number, you will be automatically covered for 25 visits WITHIN the first 12 weeks from your car accident, unless otherwise notified by an ICBC representative.

We will direct bill the assessment or treatment fees to ICBC. For the majority of our services, there are no additional patient fees per visit.

At our Westside location only, there is a one-time patient fee of $39 for TMD (jaw) and Vestibular initial assessments. There is no patient fee for subsequent TMD and Vestibular treatments.

Our clinic will contact your ICBC adjustor directly if more than 25 visits are required OR if your claim is outside of the initial 12 weeks. Supporting documentation from a physician may be required for your adjustor to approve treatment beyond the initial 25 visits.

  • Please provide appropriate documentation such an ID or K#. We can bill directly to these government agencies for our services.

  • A valid WSBC claim number and Care Card number must be presented on your first visit. If your claim has been accepted by WorkSafeBC, there are no fees charged to you. Our clinic will speak directly to your WSBC case manager for ongoing treatment approval as required.

If your WorkSafeBC claim is pending, you will be charged as a private client. Once your claim has been approved, you will be reimbursed all applicable fees.

  • heathOne Physiotherapy & Hand Clinic will provide a receipt to all clients via email (preferred) or paper receipt (on request). These are original receipts and should be accepted by all insurance providers.

  • We accept all major credit cards, debit and e-transfers. We are a ‘cash lite’ business - which means we prefer you don’t use cash but will take it in a pinch. We won’t be able to provide change but can apply any balance as a credit for your next treatment. We do not accept personal cheques.

  • For MSP, the cost of treatment is partially covered while the remainder of the service cost is in the form of a user fee.
