When it comes to appointments and insurance questions, our Admin Team is here to assist you every step of the way. Our knowledgeable staff members are well-versed in navigating the complexities of the healthcare system and are ready to provide you with the guidance you need.

Meet our Managers

Karen Thompson, Accounting & Payroll Manager

Karen attended the VCC Medical Office Assistant Program after moving from Montreal to beautiful Vancouver in 1997. She started her MOA career at Westside Physiotherapy as a receptionist and is now our Office Manager. She deals with all administrative and accounting enquiries at the Westside Clinic. 

When not at the clinic, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and planning her next beach vacation.

Meet our Surrey Team

Lisa Luongo, Surrey Clinic Lead

Lisa graduated in graphic design and worked in the printing industry until she took time off to spend quality time with her family, including her 2 Shar peis (aka furry babies). Wellness has always been a big part of her life.  Lisa will always welcome you with a big smile and a cheerful greeting.

When not working at the clinic, Lisa enjoys hiking, walking her furry babies, watching professional sports and traveling.

Amanjot Kaur Hans, Surrey Reception

Amanjot is a dedicated administrative assistant with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Known for her fast-learning abilities and unwavering work ethic, Amanjot is passionate about acquiring new skills. Keeping her workspace organized is critical but most importantly, she’s always ready to assist patients.

When Amanjot is not at the clinic, she loves to spend time in her kitchen creating new dishes for her family & friends. 

Jonathan Antillon, Surrey Clinic Support

Jonathan graduated from CDI College with his diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant. Jonathan plans to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Outside of work he enjoys sports and daily physical exercise.

Meet our Mission Team

Ry-Anne Biggs, Mission Clinic Lead

Ry-Anne started her career in the culinary world, eventually ending up in the health and wellness industry. This lead her into some administration roles where she found clinical administration was the perfect fit for her. She is thrilled to be a part of the team at HealthOne physio. 

In her free time, Ry-Anne enjoys cooking and camping, and spending time with her family and her two cats, Dallas and Beatrice.

Jennifer Youritchuk, Mission Patient Coordinator

Jennifer began her career in administration 10 years ago. She has a passion for helping others and delivering superior customer service, which lead her to her position as the patient coordinator at Health One Physio at our Mission location.

When she isn’t working Jennifer likes to spend her time camping with her family and exploring nature. 

Erika Cruz, Mission Reception & Clinic Support

Erika is pursuing a bachelor of kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley, in hopes to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

In her free time, she enjoys going on runs, playing basketball and walking her 3 dogs.

Pawaneet Basra, Mission Reception & Clinic Support

After completing her Kinesiology degree, Pawaneet plans to pursue a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. In her free time, Pawaneet enjoys spending time in nature and going on hikes. She also likes trying out various foods, especially Italian cuisine!

Gurbhaj Sidhu, Mission Reception & Clinic Support

Gurbhaj graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree from UFV with plans to pursue a Masters in Physiotherapy. He's intrigued and excited to learn how the human body functions and exploring the best strategies to rehabilitate injuries. 

In his free time, Gurbhaj enjoys watching sports, playing basketball, working out, and spending quality time with family & friends.

Maninder Basraon, Mission Reception & Clinic Support

Maninder moved to Canada in 2017 as an international student.  Her goal is to pursue a healthcare profession in Canada. 

In her free time, Maninder loves to stay fit by hiking, working out at the gym and playing soccer.  She also enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

Victoria Robinson, Mission Reception & Clinic Support

Victoria has been with healthOne on and off for many years. Victoria believes work is not just a means to an end but an opportunity for growth and fulfillment. When you see her at the front desk, she has a perpetual smile on her face and approaches each day with enthusiasm.

Victoria loves spending quality time with her family, cherishing every moment together. She absolutely loves travelling and finding new destinations! She also enjoys cooking, a passion that allows her to express her creativity and nurture those around her with delicious meals.

Kristiana Almquist, Mission Clinic Support

Since graduating, Kristiana has been taking time off of school before beginning her studies in Psychology.  Kristi has always wanted to be able to help others, and working at healthOne has given her a great opportunity to experience assisting patients before pursuing a career in healthcare.

In Kristiana’s free time she likes to visit with her family and take her dog for a walk along the river.

Jovan Gill, Mission Clinic Support

Jovan is currently completing his bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley. He is very interested in learning more about the human body and rehabilitation. After completion of his Kinesiology degree, Jovan plans to pursue a Master's degree in Physiotherapy. 

In his free time, Jovan loves to play all sorts of sports including soccer, basketball, and hockey. He's also a Vancouver Canucks SUPER fan!

Meet our Westside (Vancouver) Team

Hilary Hartwell, Westside Clinic Lead

Hilary has worked in administration for over 20 years and has a strong professional background and personal interest in the Health & Wellness industry. She is excited to use her organizational and customer service skills as the Clinic Lead alongside her healthOne colleagues.

Outside of work Hilary enjoys traveling, jogging and exploring local restaurants & cafes with her husband and two dogs.

Daniela Bannwart, Westside Patient Coordinator

Born and raised in Switzerland, Daniela was ready for a change when she moved to Vancouver in 1998. After learning English, she completed her Hotel Management Diploma and worked in a variety of hospitality settings. Daniela came to Westside in the Fall of 2017 and immediately felt she found home.  

Daniela loves helping people and her background in Wellness, Customer Service and Hotel Management guides her in mastering the tasks at the reception with dedication, compassion and always a big smile!

Cindy Wu, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Cindy studies clinical neuroscience and has a special interest in chronic pain and spinal cord injury. Because her study involves working with patients who have had severe injury and/or major surgical operations, she recognizes the importance of rehabilitation and recovery.

During her spare time, she loves skating, skiing, and cycling. Cindy plays the accordion. Music is an essential part of her life, as well as oil painting. 

Angela is an Aesthetician that graduated from Blanche Macdonald. She’s always had a passion for health and fitness and the medical field. After school she started home/mobile services for Manicures, Pedicures and Facials/Spa Therapy. 

In her free time she enjoys music, hanging out with friends, shopping and watching sports.

Ivan Moody, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Ivan is currently a kinesiology student and plans to pursue physiotherapy after completing his undergrad. He developed his passion for fitness in high school while playing basketball.

In his spare time Ivan enjoys going out with friends as well as exploring the mountains.

Heather Mowers, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Heather joins Westside with previous experience in personal fitness training and the Canadian Armed Forces. She has a passion for fitness, animals, helping others, and administrative work. 

When not at work, she enjoys long nature hikes with her dog Pikachu, rowing, and dancing. 

Angel Porras, Westside Clinic Support

Angel is currently a kinesiology student at the University of British Columbia with aspirations to pursue a master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Drawing from her experience in sports, particularly volleyball and basketball, she now coaches youth athletes.

Beyond her academic and work commitments, Angel enjoys exploring new cooking recipes and participating in recreational sports leagues. 

Michael Woldeab, Westside Clinic Support

Michael is currently in his fourth year of kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. After completing his bachelors, he plans to further his education by doing his master’s and soon after his doctorate. Michael’s passion for the field stems from his giving nature, and always wanting to help others.

Outside of work and school, Michael likes to go on hikes with his buddies, workout in the gym, and spend quality time with his family.

Cecilia Moreno, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Cecilia is a dedicated Kinesiology student at the University of British Columbia who aspires to become an occupational therapist. With experience as an elite level rhythmic gymnast, she has developed a profound understanding of physical development, health, and wellness.  Cecilia has the opportunity to apply this knowledge while working at healthOne.

Outside of school & work, Cecilia is passionate about creating various forms of art. She enjoys painting, drawing, and crocheting.

Juliana Lopez Silva, Westside Clinic Support

Juliana, a Colombian physiotherapist, graduated and relocated to Vancouver to broaden her professional horizons. She’s completing the licensure process in British Columbia to practice physiotherapy soon.   Driven by her passion for enhancing the well-being of her community, Juliana possesses a holistic understanding of body movement and prioritizes mental as well as physical wellness.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Juliana enjoys traveling to discover new destinations and cherishing moments with her beloved cat & dog.
