Position Details:
PT or OT: We’re only able to accommodate a physiotherapist application at this time. In the future, there may be a position for an OT.
Location: Currently, we have an open opportunity at our Vancouver (Westside) location. Opportunities will be available in the future at our Mission and Surrey locations.
Start: Full-time position of 30 patient hours per week. The position start date is flexible and will start once a qualified candidate is selected. Minimum 3-year commitment to the Fellowship program.
Requirements: The preferred candidate must be licensed (or eligible) to practice physiotherapy in British Columbia and practicing for the 2 years. Preference for candidates with manual therapy, IMS/dry needling and private practice experience.

Income Range Estimates*:
Work full-time as an independent contractor earning $150,000 per year for 30 billable hours per week*

Signing Bonus: Up to $2,000 based on experience and commitment level

The CHT Fellowship Program Includes:
Weekly didactic topic-focussed learning sessions: The topic schedule will be individually tailored to optimize your learning and skill development. Supplemental research and presentation materials will be shared with you relevant to the weekly topic.
Weekly chart and case reviews: This will be an opportunity to present challenging cases for detailed analysis and treatment planning.
Practical sessions: Learning sessions that will be ‘hands-on’ for items such as splinting, wound care, manual therapy or exercise prescription. Practical sessions will also be tailored for your individual learning objectives.
Supervised clinical care: Your primary mentor and other experienced CHT clinicians will provide direct supervision of the care you deliver to your patients and provide constructive feedback and assistance.
You will be provided with your own copy of Rehabilitation of the Hand – an essential text for every hand therapist.
You will also be provided with a copy of the ‘Purple Book’ – “Rehab of the Hand Study Guide”. This will be an invaluable study guide in preparation for the CHT examination.
Access to view surgery or work collaboratively with other health professionals can be arranged.
