When it comes to appointments and insurance questions, our Admin Team is here to assist you every step of the way. Our knowledgeable staff members are well-versed in navigating the complexities of the healthcare system and are ready to provide you with the guidance you need.

Meet Our Manager

Karen Thompson, Accounting & Payroll Manager

Karen attended the VCC Medical Office Assistant Program after moving from Montreal to beautiful Vancouver in 1997. She started her MOA career at Westside Physiotherapy as a receptionist and is now our Office Manager. She deals with all administrative and accounting enquiries at the Westside Clinic. 

When not at the clinic, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and planning her next beach vacation.

Our Surrey Team

Lisa Luongo, Surrey Patient Coordinator

Lisa graduated in graphic design and worked in the printing industry until she took time off to spend quality time with her family, including her 2 Shar peis (aka furry babies). Wellness has always been a big part of her life.  Lisa will always welcome you with a big smile and a cheerful greeting.

When not working at the clinic, Lisa enjoys hiking, walking her furry babies, watching professional sports and traveling.

Jonathan Antillon, Surrey Clinc Support

Jonathan graduated from CDI College with his diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant. Jonathan plans to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Outside of work he enjoys sports and daily physical exercise.

Kate Pulfer, Surrey Reception & Clinic Support

Kate graduated from UBC with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology with plans to pursue a Master's in Physiotherapy. She loves learning about human anatomy and physiology, with a special interest in neuroanatomy. Coming from a family of physiotherapists, she is excited to learn more about rehabilitation and the clinical processes of clinics.

In her free time, Kate enjoys watercolour painting, sketching, reading, hiking, and doing classical Jujutsu.

Our Mission Team

Ry-Anne Biggs, Mission Clinic Lead

Ry-Anne started her career in the culinary world, eventually ending up in the health and wellness industry. This lead her into some administration roles where she found clinical administration was the perfect fit for her. She is thrilled to be a part of the team at HealthOne physio. 

In her free time, Ry-Anne enjoys cooking and camping, and spending time with her family and her two cats, Dallas and Beatrice.

Jennifer Youritchuk, Mission Patient Coordinator

Jennifer began her career in administration 10 years ago. She has a passion for helping others and delivering superior customer service, which lead her to her position as the patient coordinator at Health One Physio at our Mission location.

When she isn’t working Jennifer likes to spend her time camping with her family and exploring nature. 

Erika Cruz, Mission Reception & Clinic Support

Erika is pursuing a bachelor of kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley, in hopes to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

In her free time, she enjoys going on runs, playing basketball and walking her 3 dogs.

Maninder Basraon, Mission Reception & Clinic Support

Maninder moved to Canada in 2017 as an international student.  Her goal is to pursue a healthcare profession in Canada. 

In her free time, Maninder loves to stay fit by hiking, working out at the gym and playing soccer.  She also enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

Rajveer Sandhu, Mission Clinic Support

Rajveer is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia. Upon completion, Rajveer plans to pursue her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She hopes to gain valuable insight into patient-centred care and various rehabilitation methods during her time at healthOne.


In her free time, Rajveer enjoys drawing, yoga, and baking treats for
her loved ones.

Priya Basra, Mission Clinic Support

Priya is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. She hopes to find a career she loves through this degree.

In her free time, Priya loves reading, trying new restaurants, catching up on sleep, and spending time with friends & family. 

Emily Dekker, Mission Clinic Support

Emily is taking a gap year but plans to return to UFV to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology over the next few years. Her ultimate career goal is to become a physiotherapist. She would love to someday rehabilitate professional athletes.

In her free time, Emily likes to train Muay Thai, as well as playing on a women’s soccer team.

Victoria Robinson, Mission Reception

Victoria is a vibrant individual who finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loves spending quality time with her family, cherishing every moment together. She absolutely loves travelling and finding new destinations!

She also enjoys cooking, it's not just a hobby; it's a passion that allows her to express her creativity and nurture those around her with delicious meals. Work is not just a means to an end but an opportunity for growth and fulfillment. With a perpetual smile on her face, she approaches each day with enthusiasm, always ready for new adventures and experiences that life has to offer!

Komal Dhaliwal. Mission Reception & Clinic Support

Komal is completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley. Upon graduating, Komal plans to pursue her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. 

 In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending quality time with family & friends, and binge-watching Netflix shows! 

Tejpaul Sandhu, Mission Clinic Support

Tejpaul is completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with plans to pursue a Master's in Physical Therapy. He is passionate about learning human anatomy, physiology and how to rehabilitate injuries.

 In his free time, Tejpaul enjoys boxing, competing in jiu jitsu, hiking, playing & watching hockey, and spending time with his family & friends.

Gurveer Sidhu, Mission Clinic Support

Gurveer Sidhu is currently enrolled at the University of the Fraser Valley as a dedicated student athlete. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree while excelling on the basketball court. Gurveer has also found a way to give back to the community as she invests her time in coaching young female athletes.

In the little spare time when Gurveer is not at work, studying or coaching & playing basketball, she also enjoys spending time with her family.

Our Westside (Vancouver) Team

Hilary Hartwell, Westside Clinic Lead

Hilary has worked in administration for over 20 years and has a strong professional background and personal interest in the Health & Wellness industry. She is excited to use her organizational and customer service skills as the Clinic Lead alongside the Westside healthOne team.

 Outside of work she enjoys traveling, jogging and exploring local restaurants & cafes with her husband and two dogs.

Daniela Bannwart, Westside Patient Coordinator

Born and raised in Switzerland, Daniela was ready for a change when she moved to Vancouver in 1998. After learning English, she completed her Hotel Management Diploma and worked in a variety of hospitality settings. Daniela came to Westside in the Fall of 2017 and immediately felt she found home.  

Daniela loves helping people and her background in Wellness, Customer Service and Hotel Management guides her in mastering the tasks at the reception with dedication, compassion and always a big smile!

Cindy Wu, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Cindy studies clinical neuroscience and has a special interest in chronic pain and spinal cord injury. Because her study involves working with patients who have had severe injury and/or major surgical operations, she recognizes the importance of rehabilitation and recovery.

During her spare time, she loves skating, skiing, and cycling. Cindy plays the accordion. Music is an essential part of her life, as well as oil painting. 

Kyle Kirmaci, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Kyle will be graduating this Fall with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of British Columbia. He plans to continue his studies and pursue a career in physiotherapy.

In his free time, Kyle enjoys coaching basketball, travelling and trying out new foods from around the world.

Ivan Moody, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Ivan is currently a kinesiology student and plans to pursue physiotherapy after completing his undergrad. He developed his passion for fitness in high school while playing basketball.

In his spare time Ivan enjoys going out with friends as well as exploring the mountains.

Heather Mowers, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Heather joins Westside with previous experience in personal fitness training and the Canadian Armed Forces. She has a passion for fitness, animals, helping others, and administrative work. 

When not at work, she enjoys long nature hikes with her dog Pikachu, rowing, and dancing.

Michael Woldeab, Westside Clinic Support

Michael is currently in his fourth year of kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. After completing his bachelors, he plans to further his education by doing his master’s and soon after his doctorate. Michael’s passion for the field stems from his giving nature, and always wanting to help others.

Outside of work and school, Michael likes to go on hikes with his buddies, workout in the gym, and spend quality time with his family.

Juliana Lopez Silva, Westside Clinic Support

Juliana, a Colombian physiotherapist, graduated and relocated to Vancouver to broaden her professional horizons. She’s completing the licensure process in British Columbia to practice physiotherapy soon.   Driven by her passion for enhancing the well-being of her community, Juliana possesses a holistic understanding of body movement and prioritizes mental as well as physical wellness.

 Outside of her professional pursuits, Juliana enjoys traveling to discover new destinations and cherishing moments with her beloved cat & dog.

Gemma Liao, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Gemma is currently a Kinesiology student at the University of British Columbia, with hopes of completing her Master's in Physical Therapy. Her passion for exercise rehabilitation stems from many years of experience in soccer and field hockey. 

 In the community, she coaches girls' soccer programs and volunteers with the Healthy Heart program at Burnaby Hospital. 

Love Kaur, Westside Reception

Love holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Amity University in India and is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). She is currently advancing her studies in business analysis to deepen her expertise and prepare for a dynamic career in the field.

In her leisure time, Love is passionate about hiking, enjoying long scenic walks, and weight training, which reflect her commitment to both personal growth and a balanced lifestyle.

Shivani Patial, Surrey Clinic Lead

Shivani has been working in the field of physiotherapy clinic administration since 2019.  But her knowledge of physiotherapy runs very deep.  She completed her Bachelors of Physical Therapy at LPU in India and after moving to Vancouver, went on to complete her Global Health & Human Services Graduate Certificate at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Her experience as both a physiotherapist and a healthcare administrator are a perfect combination in her role as Clinic Lead.  

In her spare time, Shivani loves to read and spend time with her family. 

Camila Perez, Westside Reception & Clinic Support

Camila is a professional within the international relations field with a Master’s in Business Administration. She moved from Colombia to expand her horizons and seek new career opportunities. At healthOne, Camila is excited to provide exemplary customer service and have a positive impact on others through her work.

When not at work, Camila dons her black belt for Karate and loves discovering Vancouver’s nature.
